ShareWis Inc. obtained ISMS Cloud Security Certification based on ISO/IEC 27017:2015, the international standard for information security controls specific to cloud services, on August 17, 2026.
ISO/IEC 27017 is an international standard that builds on ISO/IEC 27001, the international standard for information security management systems (ISMS), and defines controls for addressing risks unique to cloud services. We obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification in August 2022. With this new ISO/IEC 27017 certification, a third-party audit has confirmed that we have established and operate appropriate controls both as a provider and as a user of cloud services.
We are a cloud service provider (CSP) offering WisdomBase, and at the same time a cloud service customer (CSC) using Amazon Web Services and Vimeo. This certification covers our controls in both roles.
